Caremoli Announces Partnership with Exandal Corp. for Tara Gum Distribution
Caremoli Group and Exandal Corp. are pleased to announce the establishment of a commercial partnership. As of September 1, 2011, Caremoli has been awarded exclusive rights to distribute Exandal’s full Tara Gum product line in the USA and Italy, under the brand name CareColloid™ Tara Gum. This partnership is a perfect match of two companies which are fully dedicated to producing and distributing high quality food ingredients.
Exandal is one of the largest producers of Tara Gum in the world, with an annual production of 720 MT. To guarantee a constant supply of raw material, Exandal has created strategic joint ventures with the largest farmer communities in Peru. Exandal’s Tara Gum production facility is located in Lima, Peru, and is the only Tara Gum production facility with BRC, HAACP and ISO 9001-2008 certifications. Additionally, all products made in this modern facility are Kosher and Halal certified. As such, Exandal completely fulfills the quality and purity demands of the FAO/WHO, the US Code of Federal Regulations, EU EEC Directives, and the Food Chemical Codex (FCC).
Caremoli Group, which is headquartered in Milan Italy, is a global manufacturer of many fine food ingredients. State-of-of-the-art production facilities are located in Italy, USA and India. The Italian facility is a dedicated gluten free facility which holds ISO 9001, BRC, Organic and Kosher certifications. It also serves as a warehouse and distribution point for southern Europe. The USA facility produces specialty grain and legume ingredients, and is an FDA registered facility holding USDA Organic, GMA/FPA Safe and Kosher certifications. It serves as the distribution point for all of the Americas. The Indian facility is the only guar gum and psyllium husk fiber production facility in India which has been built from the ground according to EU quality specifications. It holds ISO 22000, Kosher and Halal certifications. Caremoli operates a Sales office in Germany, which also serves as a warehouse and distribution location for northern Europe and southern Africa. Caremoli also distributes high quality ingredients on behalf of other international manufacturers. In some cases, Caremoli acts as sole distributor of these products in specified geographies.
