Snack & cereals
The first cereal grains dated back by the early primitive humans. Wheat and barley have considered crops founded by Neolithics during the development of the agriculture. Millets and rice were starting to be cultivated in the East Asia around the same time. While sorghum and millets were originated in the sub-Saharan West of Africa. In their natural form as in whole grain, cereals are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats, oils, and proteins. As an important source for our diet, they can be also included in snacks: fast and small meals, ideal for a break. Considering the exigencies of the consumers, there is an increasing trend towards healthy and natural solutions.
